Do I need to know how to swing dance?
No. If you would like to learn how to swing dance, many of our guests will be happy to teach you the basic steps.
This is a social environment that allows people to dance, drink, eat and socialize while listening to their favorite dance tunes from the 50s and 60s. There are tables and chairs near the dance floor where you can sit, eat and watch. And you don’t need to dance to have a great time.
Do I need to bring a dance partner?
No. You may come alone or come with friends. Many of our guests change dance partners many times throughout the night so everyone has a chance to dance with everyone else. We are considered the friendliest dance event in NYC so it’s easy to socialize and be part of the fun.
Is there a dress code?
No. Feel free to come in casual clothing that is comfortable to dance in. Some guests wear suits and dresses as well. If you enjoy dressing up in vintage or retro attire, come ready for pictures!
